Crown progressed to the next round of the cup with a win against league newcomers Badshot Lea . Plenty of good batting from both sides with loads of sixes straight into the car park! Old timer & skipper Griffiths led the way with a squashbuckling 36 with Gurney and tailender Rees both retired unbeaten.
Lea made a spirited reply with veteran Gray and Morris leading the way with good knocks . Crown young pace bowling duo of Macaig (3-46) & Ryan Larby(2-22) led their side to an 18 run win.All retired to the well stocked bar for beer/lager plus the popular new addition Strongbow cider! All in all a good fun evening.
